AdCom Mixer - Celebrating 65 years of IEEE GRSS

Join us at the AdCom Mixer during IGARSS 2026 in Washington, D.C. as we celebrate the 65th Anniversary of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society — honoring decades of innovation, collaboration, and global impact in geoscience and remote sensing.

This special evening brings together members, leaders, and attendees from across the GRSS community for connection, conversation, and community-building. Whether you are attending IGARSS for the first time or have been part of GRSS for years, the mixer offers a welcoming space to meet fellow members, exchange ideas, learn more about the Society, and explore new ways to get involved and help shape the future of GRSS.

Conference Banquet

Set against the iconic backdrop of the capital of the United States of America, the IGARSS 2026 Banquet will take place aboard a scenic Potomac River cruise, offering breathtaking views of Washington, D.C.'s skyline by night.

Designed as an evening focused on connection and experience rather than formal programming, the banquet will provide attendees with the opportunity to relax, network, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Potomac River alongside colleagues and friends from around the world.

Guests will enjoy a curated dinner service while taking in views of Washington's historic landmarks from the water, creating a memorable and distinctly D.C. experience that will serve as one of the highlights of IGARSS 2026. Attendees will soak in sweeping views of Washington, D.C.'s iconic landmarks, including the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, from both the comfortable indoor spaces and open-air decks while enjoying music from onboard DJs playing a selection of popular favorites throughout the evening.

Closing Ceremony

Join us for the IGARSS 2026 Closing Ceremony as we celebrate the conclusion of an inspiring week of innovation, collaboration, and discovery.
